Monasteri Aperti Emilia-Romagna 2025

This event is now at its 7th edition, taking place in Emilia-Romagna on October 4–5 and October 11–12, 2025.

It offers intimate and original experiences, blending art and spirituality, to discover sacred places of great beauty—rich in ancient treasures and atmosphere—along the Pilgrimage Routes of Emilia-Romagna’s regional network.

The 2025 edition is characterized by the theme of the Jubilee of Hope, with activities also connected to the jubilee sites throughout Emilia-Romagna.

Monasteries, Abbeys, Cathedrals, Parish Churches, Sanctuaries, and Churches will open their doors to welcome visitors with unique and inspiring proposals.

Encounters with friars, monks, and religious communities, guided tours of monasteries, walks among rural churches, excursions along pilgrimage routes to sanctuaries and millenary places of worship, tastings of ancient monastic recipes, talks with art history scholars and experts, and concerts of sacred music and ancient, precious organs.

The initiative is promoted in collaboration with the Episcopal Conference of Emilia-Romagna.
