Dante’s Way
Dante’s Way is a ring route between Romagna and the Casentino region retracing the route that Dante Alighieri ideally followed in the early 12th century between the cities of Ravenna and Florence. It is far from the paved road and follows ancient ridge paths of Etrusco-Roman origin.
The trail starts from Dante’s Tomb in Ravenna and finishes at the House-Museum of Dante in Florence passing mostly through places associated with his exile and which the poet wrote about in many passages of the Divine Comedy.
